Proper Dishwasher Installation: The Importance of High-Looping the Drain Line

Step 5: Install Power Supply Cable


Attach the dishwashers power supply cord to the proper wires using wire nuts and securing those with electrical tape before securing the junction box.


Step 6: Level the Dishwasher


Ensure that the dishwasher is level by adjusting the feet at the bottom of the appliance. A level dishwasher will operate efficiently and prevent leaks.


Step 7: Test the Dishwasher


Turn on the dishwasher and run a test cycle to ensure it is operating correctly. Check for any leaks or drainage issues and adjust the dishwasher's positioning as necessary.
